Giant Eagle : Betty Crocker/Wilton/Eggs/Bisquick Deal

I do not know if there is anything other than store signage that promotes the cake/cookie pan deal - I don't think it was ever on GE's website.

I have bought multiple pans in one transaction. I did 4 at once w/ the cookie mix deal.

I did not receive the free pans today - not sure what the problem was - hoping someone else can confirm this deal is still valid.

I am trying later on. There was a second sign that appeard a few weeks ago at a few of my stores, that was the one that listed 3 different types of pans, the gray ones, the black ones and the cheapy silver ones. That sign said till november 30 but the other sign was still there that said till 12/31 for the origional pans

I tried the $5.49 pan today and it did not come off automatically.

I went to customer service. The manger took it off for me. She called the inventory manager who told her that they got "an email" to no longer do the deal because Wilton was not getting the pans to them.

The manager still gave it to me.

Well geesh - that screws up my plans LOL I checked the other day and my store finally restocked the pans...I'll have to look for the signs, if they're not up then I guess it's to Plan B :-P

short story...long...I went to 2 GE's yesterday and tried to buy both pans...$5.49 and $7.99. Neither one came off the receipt at the end. Went home...Did some research and found that the new end date for the promo was 12/09/09. Went this morning and bought enuf items for 3 more pans - $7.99 - and they (no surprise) didn't come off the total. I went to CS and they removed the charge for the 3 $7.99 pans and gave me 5 of the $5.49 pans (3 for today and 2 for yesterday) instead. I showed CS a printout of the original sign with the promotion end date of 12/30/09. I also asked what WAS the end date for the promotion and the CS person said they didn't know. CS said that I was NOT the first person to question this deal this week.

My store said the pan deal ended on 11/30, yet my sister in law got a free pan yesterday at another store in town. I went in and had to have 16 frostings voided & 5 pans. I WAS THERE AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!! Then they ended up over charging me by $4 because they didn't use my coupons for the frosting I kept. I am about to give on on Giant Eagle! I am so mad right now. If they do not give me my money back tomorrow I am calling corporate ASAP!

My store also said they received a letter saying the promotion ended, but since I had printed out the picture with the date from Cherry Picker they honored my 2 cookie sheets, but basically inferred that I wouldn't be able to do the deal in the future.

lostinthemission did you have the print out? If you did they should have honored it , if not I would take it in and see if they will honor it when they are refunding your $4 in coupons. If you can get 12 frostings then you could get three pans/sheets and 2 $2 OYNO.
