I am in AWE of you all. I hope I can get great deals like this some day. I'm in an apartment with roommates, so stockpiling is out of the question. A girl can dream though...

Had a couple of great trips.

I did the ore-ida deal once. Thinking about doing it again. I set up all my friends with coupons for the ore-idas. May do one more myself...hmmm.

Did the ketchup twice with coupons - was a $3 mm until I take off the cost of the coupons I bought - but it was still way less than the $12 oop after the cat with no coups. We ALWAYS run out of ketchup here - and being in the city that Heinz is in you would think we had coupons here - I rarely see ketchup ones.

Last sale I got 42 boxes of cinnabons for .17 a box. Well my kids are not big fans unless they are warmed up. I am putting them in teacher gift bags with coffee stuff and oatmeal packets - things they can eat at work. BUT we did find that cutting them up and using to make ice cream "shooters" (little sundaes) is a big hit with the teen crowd. And the football team likes them - but again they eat ANYTHING.

Here are a few of my runs to GE for this weeks sale:

16 pouches of betty crocker potatoes .89 less .40 coupon doubled cost .09 each
Yoplait yogurt 20/10.00 less three coupons for .40 off six doubled to .80 each PLUS got back two free cups of yogurt next time ($2 value)
Pillsbury cinnamon rolls 2.00 each less .50 off two double to 1.00 got 4
Pillsbury crescent rolls same price as cinnamon rolls – PLUS GOT $4 off my next visit for buying 8
American cheese 5.79 for 1.25 pounds less 1.00 coupon
Boxed scalloped potatoes 8/10 got two had coupons for .25 off each doubled to .50 off
Spinach 1.84 less .55 coupon doubled
Salad 1.84 less .55 coupon doubled
Bologna from deli 1.64
Round steak marked down to 1.02 after meat dept coupon
Tortillas 1.50 each 1 pkg
Beef gravy 3 jars 1.25 each less 1.00 off coupon on three
Ekrich smoked kielbassi – five packs at 2.24 less .55 coupon doubled to 1.10 on each
Crisco shortening x 2 at 5.25 each less 4.00 coupon on each

Total was $10.31 with my debit card got back 6 in cats

Then I got ketchup grapes and buns and paid 9.85 got 8 off my next visit.

Good trip!!
Are the Cinnabons on sale this week? I looked through the flyer and didn't see them.

Where did you get your crisco and ketchup coupons? I never see ketchup coupons for Heinz.

TIA

I have been doing reading/planning/working on my couponing technique for 2 weeks and I think this is the best I have done so far:

Today I got
10 Heinz ketchup
14 steamfresh
2 duncan heinz items
4 skippy naturals

Paid $17 but got the $8 oyno from heinz, 2/$1 oyno from skippy, and $5 steeler bucks!

I think i was supposed to get 3/$5 steeler bucks since i bought 18 quailifing items (steamfresh & skippy)...so i'm thinking about going back tomorrow and talking to customer service. i'm a little nervous though cause as i said i'm new to this! Any thoughts????

Thank you!! I had help with an $8 CAT from fries last week, plus the veggies and freshpets were completely free with Q's which really helped The rest were all CAT or free wyb deals (pans - eggs)...well except the silk ,bread & tea which I needed to reach my fuelperk discount.

So glad you got your ketchup too!!

Had a super trip to GE today (other than it being WAY to busy and me feeling quite overwhelmed with it all LOL)

Walked in and found out it was their Trick or Treat Scavenger hunt! woot! But I was bummed because the kids weren't in costume, and my oldest was at home and it was almost over - but they just gave me an extra basket for my oldest so we could get him goodies too :-) Um, yeah - now I know why my store never had the free trick or treat basket for buying 3 Kellogg's products - they used them for the scavenger hunt! LOL The kids got to keep them, so I guess that's better than having to actually 'buy' kellogg's to get them hehe

Here's my run:
27 Starkist Sandwich Ready Tuna Salad 1.50 - 75c mq (regional-had to order it) = FREE
4 Starkist Tuna Pouches 1$ - 50c IP = FREE
8 Freshpet Select Homestyle dog food 1.99 - Free mq = FREE
10 BC Pumpkin cookie mix 1$ - 40c mq = 20c each
2 BC Frosting tubs 1.50 - 50c mq = 50c each
1 doz GE Free Range/organic eggs 2.99 - 2$ (free egg cat from BC stuff last week) = 99c
3 Wilton Medium cookie sheets 5.49 - 5.49 for buying 3 BC items = FREE
Bread 1.19
Milk 3.08
-8$ oyno cat fries last week
= 79 cents

Before coupons (and including the pans) = 93.18

Cashier say "Man, you know how to shop!" and then turns to the lady behind me and started raving about my total.... The lady behind was in awe and asked me to come shop for her LOL I love those kind of shopping trips :-)
