Giant Eagle ~ Other: New receipt changes at GE

This may only be in Columbus so far but today they did a receipt modification and it shows your 12 month savings from weekly specials and from coupons! I was very excited to see that in the last 12 months I have saved over $840 in coupons at GE, I am going to make a sincere effort to get that amount up over $1000 in the near future. It does not work on the self check outs yet, just the regular registers. What has everyone else saved? I need some inspiring numbers to work towards

My receipts from today don't show that. but I wish they would.. I use to keep track but it became too much of a PITA.

The bottom of mine shows only 12 months of fuel savings.

I would like to see what the receipt said in grocery savings and if matches up with what is online. The online version doesn't give the true amount saved, so I'm wondering if the receipt does.

e.g. Online: Total Items 5 Total Spent $0.00 Total Saved $0.00 LOL I'm sure the "savings" they calculate online is the store sales and obviously not coupons so maybe the receipt savings is different from the online savings. If so that would be a great addition.
