haha awwww, no pics!? But it's so preeeettty!I just moved everything over...not quite as much room left over as I had hoped, but my fridge freezer is almost bare now! (and the kids are having a blast playing with all the 'snow' they scraped out of the old one hehe)
And yes, it was my Christmas present....that and the 3 huge file cabinets my DH won on ebay for 99c, but had to drive out to Lancaster to pick up LOL Even with gas figured in though, he paid less than what one would have cost, even used :-) So he did good!
I told him, I don't need jewelry or flowers - a freezer and file cabinets are perfect!
Watch on ebay - search for both file cabinet and filing cabinet though. Click on the location thing on the left side and choose whatever distance from your zip to search. And then you can sort the results by location - closest first. The ones he got were from an office which had to downsize and moving to a smaller office space, so all the extra stuff had to go. While picking them up the lady told him that they had a ton of office chairs, so he got a really nice big office chair for 20$ - almost exactly like the one we got a year ago for 100$! We had bid on some waiting room chairs, but they went higher than what I wanted to pay (10$ each LOL...which is still a steal!)
I was amazed at just how many file cabinets are on ebay...I always forget about local pickup and just assume that if I'm looking for something big shipping will kill any deals to be had LOL But I'm going to start watching more! I'm thinking of using the 3rd cabinet (which won't fit in my office) in my laundry room for stockpile stuff...like light bulbs and medicine. Those are taking up all the laundry room cabinets and I'd rather use the shelves for bigger, heavier things like shampoo or body wash.
I have an open front porch w/ outdoor carpet. Does anyone else think it is strange I spray it with Febreeze every so often? To explain further - our one dog is out there alot and especially after it rains all I smell is wet dog. I guess I'm figuring the Febreeze will help -and I think it does!
Here is a personal tidbit about me... When DD #1 was born in 2005, FIL bought me a freezer to store all my breastmilk b/c she was in the NICU and I had to pump to feed her. Anyway, it came in super handy with her and with DD #2 also (not a preemie but I still pumped and froze breastmilk for the first year) and now that it's empty it is stockpile city! I love being able to stash extra chicken breasts, frozen waffles, garlic bread, Lean Cuisines and Hot Pockets down there. It really is a blessing.
