Giant Eagle ~ Question: GIANT EAGLE SPECIAL ORDER REQUEST – Q) How to effectively get the job done?

I have about 25 of the following free item coupon:

OR

Save $2.19 on one (1) package of Purina Kitten Chow any size

Expiration date: Sunday, 07/26/2009

This product has been very difficult to find at my local Giant Eagles.

I would like to get the free item part of this coupon.

I have never requested that a Giant Eagle fill a customer special order request so I am asking for some comments on how to effectively get the job done.

So ...

Q1) Boogie to the Giant Eagle Customer Service Desk and state my request?

Q2) Enlighten them that I have the free item coupons or just say that I want to purchase 25 boxes?

Q3) Give them the UPC (0-17800-02867-7)? This is so there is not misunderstanding / misordering.

Q4) Give them my NAZ?

Q5) Ask when the product will come in for purchase?

If I have alot of one coupon I special order through on of the mangers. I tell them specifically the brand, size, and flavor that I want. When it comes in the put it in the back with my name on it.

To get it the quickest, call the store and ask to speak to a grocery manager. Give them the information and tell them how many you want of what size and flavor. Most of them can get it in a two or three days. They will contact you when it is in if you want and you can usually pick it up at the service desk.

I have never had to do a special order. I just wanted to let you know that I used all of those q's at Save a LOT. They had a big display of them. Not sure if you have one near you but I thought I'd throw that out there!
