I have never heard that one at GE. I have used at least 2-3 in an order before.
Can you only use 1 cat per order? I bought 6 zip-loc bags at 3/$5 and handed over my 6 mf coupons. The cashier deducted them and then I gave him 3 cats to use and he said you can only use 1 cat per order. I was surprised and said I thought I could use as many as I wanted but he said no. As usual and long line was forming so I took them back and left. I would have questioned CS but I didn't want to wait in that LONG line!

I bought 7 juices last week, used 7 coupons and not only used 3 $2 OYNO Cats but they were even 2 days expired! Cashier let me use them all! Paid 50c for all 7 juices! I have never had a prob using multiple Cats. I usually use the SCO and sometimes someone has to come over and enter them in for me but that's about it.
Also if you ever forget/lose a Cat, hang on to your receipt and when you remember/find your Cat take it CS and they will just give you the cash for it. I found that out accidentally after I left one at home and it was going to expire and the cashier told me to just bring it with my receipt.![]()

It might depend on the store. I can only use one at my store per order.
Different cashiers will give different responses. Typically, the register will beep on the second like cat. As a result, many cashiers will not accept them. Some cashiers, however, will override the register. I find that I can use multiple cats, if they are not the same. If they are the same, however, I do not have much luck with getting the cashier to accept more than one.
Note - some cats specifically state one per transaction. So, before you try to make a case for why they should accept more than one, you should make sure that you read the fine print on the cat.
It depends on which Cat it actually is and how its programmed. For instance, the Colgate Palmolive ones could be used many per transaction without beeping. However, the 2nd like one from the Ziploc deal will beep. I have had suggest with asking the cashier to show me where is says only one per order (nowhere, since it doesn't) and then asking them to have a managers override key for it. I like to use a whole bunch in one order, so it eliminates having to have a manager every time i have an order.
That is the rule at all the Giant Eagles I shop at.
The rule is one like catalina per order.
If I went shopping tomorrow I would add in with my coupons
ONE $1.25 catalina from the ziplocks and
ONE $5.00 catalina from the batteries and
ONE $4.00 Catalina from the Jello and
ONE $2.00 from the Jello.
If I were to give two of any of those, most likely the register wouldnt take it, if the cashier didnt catch it.
The loophole to that rule is catalinas that have a yellow strip and the GE logo is on them and say somewhere on them, "compliments of Giant Eagle'. Those you can use multiples of the same in one order.
I am actually surprised to read that so many readers don't have to adhern to those rules.
My GE always lets me use as many cats per order as I'd like. The head cashier has personally told me that "It's your money and why should we keep you from using it" It always beeps but they get the key and override it. Now it's not the same story at a different GE that is not even 2 miles away. One cat per order, no exceptions!
ETA: The cats do not have to be different either. Oh and this is a truly YMMV situation. I know it's not the norm at most GE's to accept multiples of the same CAT per order.
