    DD3 Giant Eagle - The $3/Fanta+ Tearpad Q

Save $3.00 when you buy (2) two 2-Liters of Fanta (any flavor) or any other Coca-Cola product (mix or match), and (1) Kellogg's, Keebler, or Sunshine multi-pack Gripz (any flavor) or Gripz Variety Pack

Don't know if anyone found these at their Big Bird yet, but I did today then I went over to Target to buy! Check out the deal here: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...ad-coupon.html

The Gripz are on sale at GE for 2/$6, but the reduced price at Target makes them a better deal.

Nope - Dr. Pepper belongs to Coke, well as far as I know - that is why they are included in all the Coke sales??

    guess we are both wrong
Q: Is Dr Pepper owned by a larger company?
A: Yes. Along with a number of other great brands, Dr Pepper is a brand within the Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG). DPSG is one of the largest producers of soft drinks and premium beverages in the Americas. DPSG's brand portfolio includes Snapple, Dr Pepper, 7UP, A&W Root Beer, Sunkist soda, Canada Dry, Hawaiian Punch, Schweppes, RC Cola, Diet Rite, Slush Puppie frozen drinks, Mott's Apple Juice, Clamato, Mr & Mrs T, Holland House mixers, Rose's, Mistic, Yoo-Hoo, Orangina, IBC, Stewart's, Nantucket Nectars and other well-known consumer brands.

Well, after you asked and I already answered, I did an internet search on who owns Dr.Pepper. We are both wrong, apparently the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group owns them -go figure - and Pepsi and Coke are distributers (hence why they are included in the vending machines of both and are included in either's sales) I just assumed it was a Coke product because everytime Coke is on sale at CVS, Dr. is a part of it, generates ECB's and so forth. I'm not sure what the real answer would be on whether Dr. Pepper can be used for this Q then.... My Target didn't bat an eyelash when I bought them for the Q, but that doesn't really mean much of anything....

    Anyone else have any input?

It depends on who bottles/distributes them in your specific area. I have no idea which area I'm in though LOL

But if Coke distributes it in your area, then you can use the coupon, since technically it is a coke product for you. It might even say on the package who bottles it in your area - if so it would say coke or pepsi I believe.

how wierd! here it must be dist. by pepsi since when pepsi is on sale then dr. pepper is on sale. The coupon will beep regardless since the way it is coded. It is coded to come off coke products but they aren't more than 3.00. I bought fanta and they were 1.25 each and the gripz and it beeped.

If coke distributes in your area it will go on sale with the coke but the coupon will be coded for coke family not DR pep family so the coupon won't scan. No matter who bottles it Dr Pepper should have the same UPC.
Pittsburgh is Coke and MD/DC area is 7up. CVS always would have issues with their sale because of this.

Here is the deal on Dr Pepper and 7UP …

    +

They are not as big as Coca-Cola or Pepsi, so, instead of having their own bottling plants, they rely on the services of Coca-Cola or Pepsi.

    Q) Now, isn’t that special?

    +

In a way, there is no rhyme or reason so each and every metropolitan area contracts with Coca-Cola or Pepsi.

Here, in northeastern OH, I believe that Pepsi bottles Dr Pepper.

Same holds true in metropolitan Atlanta.

As you travel near the Alabama / Georgia border, the 2 liter bottles differ in shapes because another bottler does the dirty deed there.

    +

Look closely on the product's packaging and you will see:

"Bottled under the [insert Coca-Cola or Pepsi right here partner] Bottling Authority."

    +

    Q) My f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e pop?

    A) The goooood doctor, Dr Pepper!
