DD3 Giant Eagle and the Viva Q

Not sure if everyone got the same Q here, but I received the $.85/any 1 Viva Big Roll Pack. Doubled at GE it would be worth $1.70. The one roll Big Roll Packs (I only saw the select a size style) are $2.19. This would make them $.49 per roll - not the best on paper towels but pretty darn good if you are a Viva fan.

I'm hoping for a sale to come soon or a Cat promo - is anyone familiar with the sale cycles for Viva?

    Thanks!
    Jen

Jen - That's not that good of a price for Viva IMO. They go on sale a lot at Weis. Even when they are not on sale and with the .75/1 QsI usually get them for .49 or less. I wish you would have asked earlier (and you have a Weis near you) b/c they just had a sale 3/$5 that ended yesterday that made them free with the .85/1 Q. :=)
Hang on to your Q and I'll bet you will do a little better as long as it doesn't expire.

Back to the Weis thing....they have Sparkle BOGOs every couple of weeks and there are usually $1/1 4-Pack Qs around. If your store allows 2 of the Qs (again, assuming you have a Weis near you), that is a great deal. The paper towels aren't quite as soft but my kids hate the way the Viva towels smell! When they are wet, they are kind of stinky!!!

Thanks for the input! I'm not normally a Viva gal because of the price - but didn't think it was too bad for the brand. Unfortunately I do not have a Weis...which sadens me with that 3/$5 deal!!

I recently took advantage of the Target Bounty deal with the 6 Big Roll packs $7 less $2.25/2 Target Q from some magazine I had and then $1/1 from the PG Rebate Q's. Then I paid with 2 $5 GC's from another deal and had $.75 left on the GC. So $0 OOP. Now I am looking for more!

    Any other ideas??? TIA!!

I always like the cvs deals for viva, i also checked the price at GE lol i didn't pick up for .49 cents :)

cvs sometimes has it on sale where you get 1ECB back and i use coupons on that..my family is addicted to viva. no problems with it..everyone notices when i switch to bounty or scott. :)
So soft!! great for cleaning my kids up after their attempt at eating lol

They had a big Viva sale last Summer at CVS (it and Cottonelle were on sale w/ECB)and it was fairly cheap. Viva isn't on sale much it seems around here. I'm jealous that other people didn't also get our $0.60 MFC! Not fair!
Since I switched to mostly using microfiber towel for cleaning, the Viva feel better for what I need paper towels for! Soft and I think they work great. Before I starting using microfiber towels I could use any paper towels...
I was hoping for a sale on Viva soon, I have most of what I bought left, but I plan on detailing my parents car and dad smokes, no microfiber use there!

I can't stand the way the viva paper towels feel. I have such a issue with textures and i cringe when I touch them. BUT I think they are wonderful paper towels. If I can find them cheap I will wear latex gloves with them. (that also leads to another issue..i can't stand the powdery feeling latex gloves leave behind, but i can wash that off!) I can't win!
