Have your receipt handy and they will ask for info from that receipt. They can tell if the machine was offline or malfunctioning at the time of your purchase. You will then be mailed your Catalina.
Also, If Giant Eagle gave you a giftcard to make up for your Catalina not printing, well guess what? You can still call Catalina Marketing and get your $3 coupon mailed to you! The $3 is owed to you by the manufacturer via Catalina not GE!
If you use the SCO you have a good view of the Catalina machine. Sometimes you can tell if it's malfunctioning by the lights on the side.
