I live in Johnstown. I shop at the Richland store because it has an Eagle's Nest, but the Westmont store is much more coupon friendly :)

Both Giant Eagles in Frederick MD are really great. I feel the one Rt 40 aka Golden mile or Patrick Street ( all one location..lol) is more friendly and organized but they both serve the purpose.

If you do the self scan shopping thing ( where you take the handheld scanner w/ you and scan you items and then pay at a special register) the store on 7th street does NOT offer that.

I don't have little ones but the Eagle's Nest at Rt 40 looks bigger and nicer than the one on 7th street too!

I prefer the one on 40 because, like you said, more friendly and organized. Also seems a little bigger. Plus the raspberry mousse individual desserts in bakery case have more fresh raspberries on them.

Plus the route 40 one is about a half mile from my house. I'll go to the one on 7th if 40 is out of something or I'm goign to be on the other side of town.

Liberty, OH from me. Then Howland or Austintown. I will drive right past the Niles store to go to the Howland one.

I shop Howland, Liberty and the one on Elm Rd.
