Blinkies doubling

Do blinkies double, even if they say dnd? I have not shopped at GE in a while and can't remember how they do it.

They double for me if they start with a 5.

90percent of the blinkies i have seen start with a 9...means the register will not double
i pick them up if they are 1.00or more but for me i pass the lesser ones up.

Blinkies from inside GE start w/ a 9, blinkies from other stores that do not offer double, usually start w/ a 5.

If the barcode starts with a 5, the register will double the coupon.
If the barcode starts with a 9, the register will not double the coupon.

HOWEVER - there is a manual override button on the register. Some cashiers will manually keep a 5 coupon from doubling, if they see that it says Do Not Double.

thanks !!! so does this go for all coupons or just blinkies, i have nevver really paid attention to the numbers on them

This goes for all coupons..with the exception of kmart super doubles, I don't think their registers are programed to recognize doubling or not.

My SuperK in Niles must have changed their software, at the last super doubles the Q's (90% of the time) doubled on their own.
Made it ALOT easier.

unless you have a cashier who reads the q and hits the button to not double the q - I usually just use them at the sco - 2 at a time.
