I think you can use sears giftcards at giant eagle, too.
Great deal that involves a little patience. As per their weekly ad, a catalina prints out for every $50 or more purchase of Sears gift cards. Here is where the patience kicks in. If you do multiple purchases which you have to do to get every 50 dollar gift card to spit out a catalina, then you must wait some time before the next purchase, so the register doesn't deny you because its senses an accidental duplicate being rung up. If you have a nice customer service team at your store then either the customer service rep or the register attendant can modify the price by 1 or two cents each purchase to trick the system.
also .15 cents off gas for every 50 in purchases on you Giant eagle card.
Also, the gift cards work at Kmart. I asked the CSR across the street and was told yes.
I stocked up for the next super double at kmart

Can you get two 25$ GCs for Sears, or do they only come in 50$ ones?
Oops - answered my own question - they do come in 25$ ones on the GE website, so I'm guessing the GE stores will have them too.
That will be nice, one for me for double days, and one for DH or Dad for Christmas
Oh - and my ad says 20c in fuelperks for every 50$ in GC you buy. OP has 15c - not sure if it's a regional difference or typo?
I went to Kmart awhile ago when they had Super Doubles. Alot of the items I got were free or dirt cheap. If I'm not mistaking they only let you purchase four of an identical item. How are you going through multiple $50 gift cards during Super Doubles? Is it that you are using them at a Super K that has food and there are alot more items to buy?
I found that the Kmart's near me sold out of most of the items quickly and didn't restock during the week.
Thanks. Just trying to understand what I'm missing out on.
The first time I did super doubles there were alot more coupons out that were good for doubling and I spent over 100$ in 2 trips and that was with them being out of alot of stuff LOL
Last time I only spent 20$
I need to sit down and see what coupons I have this time. Also - 4 like items yes, BUT I found that if you have different flavors/scents it counts as a different item. So I was able to get 5 or 6 of one product using 5 or 6 of the same coupon, just by getting two different varieties of the same item.
Yup, all mine 2$ coupons did too - up to the price of the item like PB said. The only ones you have to watch are the ones that are, say, 1$ off 2 or 2$ off2 - because I guess sometimes they only double to the price of one item, even if combined the cost of two items is more than the coupon doubled amount. So I just made sure not to use anything that wasn't off one item only.
