Has anyone done the Kelloggs/school cat deal?

I thought the sign said buy any 4 Kelloggs, etc, and get a 3 cat for school stuff. But I did two orders today, and neither produced a cat. The cashier said it was only the cereal pictured in the ad, but I though it was all Kelloggs? I didn't push the issue, but I would like to find out what's right before trying it again.

My ad (Pittsburgh area) says "$3 Off Back to School Supplies when you purchase any 5 Kelloggs, Keebler, Sunshine or Morningstar products in a single transaction with your card".
I did it last week and it worked, but only got one cat when I was hoping to get two in one transaction (I bought 10 boxes of Eggos).

It's buy any 5 Kellogg's, Keebler, Sunshine, or Morningstar Farms items in one purchase. I got a coupon yesterday and I bought 2 cereals, 2 crackers, and those individually wrapped cracker sandwiches. Lots of good lunchbox items.

I bought 4 PopTarts that are on extended price reduction for 1.75 and use two 1$/2 coupons (I think from this Sunday's paper?) and 1 Eggo and got the cat. The other day I bought 4 Eggos and 1 poptart.

Dont forget to grab the Fuel for School coupons from the School Bus display, there is a 2$ off a gallon of milk wyb any 1 poptart AND any one Eggo. I used one both times to get a gallon of GE milk for 1.50ish.
