I hate to double post but I posted this first in the newbie forums and it was suggested I post it here also.


I'm thinking of doing Giant Eagle's Right Guard/Soft&Dri deal this weekend.

If the ad says BOGO (save 3.98 with card).. I'm assuming that means the regular price of 1 is $3.98.

so.. BOGO.. can I do this...

set 1: (2) Right Guard w/ (2) $1/1 coupon
set 2: Right guard & Soft&Dri w/ $1/1 right gaurd Q & $.75/1 S&D Q
set 3: (2) Soft & Dri w/ (2) $.75/1 S&D coupon


Now, if my Giant Eagle doubles to 99cents does this mean those .75 cent coupons will actually save me $4.50 instead of $2.25?

Overall, does this mean I could end up paying $4.44 for 6 deoderants?

This could be my first big awesome deal! Please let me know.

You don't have to buy them in sets (unless your coupon is $$/2)

The deodorants vary in price - I know the last time they had this deal and .75/1 coupons for the men's deodorant - I got them free (they were 2/$2.98).

Your soft & dry should be free - last time they had some 2/$2.98 and 4/$5. GE generally doesn't give overage so if your coupon could potentially double to an amount higher than the item would cost, it would adjust itself to the correct sale amount.

You should also know it's against HCW rules to ever pay $$ for deodorant, shampoo or toothpaste.

Giant Eagle is the best for BOGO's and 2fer's. Each item rings up half price so you don't actually have to buy both (except for the meat dept. BOGOs) So if you don't have a co for the second item, don't buy it.
