| First truly bad coupon experience, rude manager UPDATE (last page) Okay, so tonight was the last night for the Colgate deal, so I had 7 different transactions (2 speedstick, 2 TP, and one nesquik each order). I did self scan because cashiers (and customers behind you) get annoyed when you split it up that many times. I scanned my 2 TP q's, 2 deodorant q's, and 1 nesquik q. I did that 7 times, and hit pay cashier each time, and my $3 cat printed each time. So when I was finally done, I went over to the cashier lady and attempted to pay. I had noticed the whole time I was scanning, there was a gaggle of the crabby ones watching and talking quietly to each other. So the cashier takes my little receipt and scans it, then I hand her a $1 cat from the Mitchum deal that I forgot to scan (not a $3 one, since it was the same order). She would not even scan it and said "I have to ask my manager if your allowed to use this". I said it shouldn't be an issue since it was from the last weeks sale, but she still would even scan it. She called the manger on her headset, and she wouldn't answer back, paged her, and still no answer. 10 minutes later, she finally comes up (already knowing me as the lady who get things for free/cheap with q's and doesn't like it). She looks at my $3 cats I was planning on using on the other orders, and rudely says there is no way I can use them, accusing me of trying to use them on the same order. I told her "No, I am using a $1 cat from last weeks sale for the first oder, then a $3 cat on the next orders as stated on the coupons. She kept saying that they were all "one" order, even though I had 7 different slips. She also looked at the receipt saying I already used q's on the order and I can't use more (they were regular q's, not OYNO cats). The whole time she was super rude, telling me I was basically a scammer, and misusing the coupons. Another manager came up (after I asked several times, she finally called him up). I was trying to ask him (he is usually fine), but she kept butting in telling him, "She can't use these, RIGHT!" and he bowed down to her  . I never got heated, just stated my case with him. She butts in again and say's, "Should we ask her to leave the store now!", and he didn't say a word. She was actually the one getting upset (her neck turned all red and splotchy), and I was the one staying very calm, trying reason with the other manager who was very polite, just a big chicken lol. I called the 800 number on my cell when I got to the truck, and they said I SHOULD have been able to use them, when the manager had told me "next order" means "next day" or "next trip". They took my name and number, but I have never dealt with GE CS, so I have no idea if it'll actually make a difference.  Oh, and she lied about the other manger even being in the store. When I first asked if i could talk with him, she said she was the manager on duty. But i told her i saw him walking around just a few minutes ago, and could he please come up. She kept repeating that "It doesn't matter" as in, she has the final say already. But it bothered me that she was not only rude, but dishonest!

I hope the cs get ahold of a good manager to deal with this. Sometimes i just wish we all had couponfearie dust to sprinkle on the haters lol or...push the easy button like Staples lol

| Re: First truly bad coupon experience, rude manager I know for a fact that she doesn't even understand how coupons work. A couple day ago, I did the baby deal, and it was $58 before q's. After q's, it went down to about $25. My cat didn't print, so I asked about it. The cashier asked the same manager why it didn't print and she said the total has to be $50 AFTER coupons. I knew it was hogwash and said so (very nicely though lol), saying maybe the machine wasn't working right. Nope, she said it still had to be $50 after q's so i dropped it. They returned all my q's and gave my $$ back. So I walked over to the self scan that I knew was working (I waited to see if it printed a cat for the person using it), and sure enough, I got a $10 cat printed. I mentioned that to her today (she had already left the other day by the time I had re-bought the stuff), and she still insisted she was still right about that deal too. I offered to show her my receipt to prove I know what I'm doing and she wanted nothing to do with it lol.

I did two crystal light transactions in a row tonight and used the $3 cat from the 1st one to pay for the 2nd order - I do it all the time (both in uscan and with a human cashier) | I have too, many times, and NEVER had an issue. In fact after last night, I went to two more stores and did the deal (with a human cashier) and neither one said a peep. Cashier A was not super thrilled with the separate
orders, but was very fast and not actually rude. Cashier B was really friendly and even told DS "Wow, your mom really knows how to use coupons!" Anyways, I called CS last night, and said said they were forwarding it to the "Front end manager" who will call me. I thought they meant like a store manager, and she no, he is in charge of ALL GE's? But if they don't end up calling back, how do I find out who the DM is?
