First truly bad coupon experience, rude manager UPDATE (last page) - Page 5

Okay, I finally talked with a higher up (I think he was a regional manager maybe?). I called the number Pittsburgh listed, and she said she would have someone call me back. 7 minutes later, I get a call from someone! I told him how quick it was, and he was very sorry it took a week for me to get a call back. I also let him know first that I was a big couponer, then he said he uses coupons too! He even did the mitchum deal a couple weeks ago lol. So I told him what happened that night, and he sounded sincerely upset that that would go on in one of his stores. He said there is no excuse for that and couldn't believe the one lady suggested I needed to be asked to leave the store. He said he would address the issue the second he got off the phone, so hopefully I will be able to shop there in peace from now on.

We all want to help but if the information is presented in a difficult-to-read way, many are turned off.

I'm glad it worked (to get someone to call you back) and it sounds like you might have some success. Is he going to call you back after he talks to the store or is he going to have the store call you?

I don't know if they are going to call back, but I don't think so. He just apologized (a few times) and said he would take care of it.

I have some business downtown today, so I will be stopping there on my way home, and I WILL be doing some cat deals. I'm wondering if I should have got a letter emailed from the guy I talked to stating I can use cats on my next transactions in case I run into more trouble.

Do you have a # to contact him directly? That actually would be a good idea - especially as a way to also follow-up with him that he contacted the store. The plus side of having something in writing from him is that if the staff ever changes at that store, you're covered for future visits/transactions.
