Other than the Powerade and the Marie Callender - no cat or instant savings this week (I'm kinda relieved - I've been living in my GE the last couple of weeks LOL)

I was lucky enough to trade for some of the .75/1 ragu pouches q's so free Ragu if you have any.

Psyched about the bogo english muffins - planning on making frozen breakfast sandwiches (thanks frank) and these will be perfect.

The Cheerios in my store had $1.00 off blueberry peelies on them. I bought two of the boxes and now have (2) $1.00 off blueberries, so a great week to buy blueberries!

You're sooo welcome Pittsburgh. :) Don't forget to grease the muffin tins with that recipe.

I've found the Tyson Pre-cooked Bacon on reduced price because of expiration dates. I called Tyson and asked about freezing the product and they said it works great to freeze them. I tried it and can confirm.

Bring those $0.55/1 q's with you to the store and check out the expiry dates. I scored big at Kroger with the Family Pack reduced to $.99 and the q doubled giving me overage. I bought 7! Combined with the Farmland Bacon from a couple weeks ago, and free cheese, we'll be having bacon egg and cheese muffins and breakfast quiches for awhile.

Should only cost us the eng muffins and eggs.

12 Eng Muffins $3.98
12 Eggs $2.00

So, $0.50 a breakfast sandwich! Much better than the pre-made selection in the grocer's freezer. Jimmy Dean costs about $2.00 each sandwich.

thanks for the tip on the tyson - I'll make sure I carry my q's with me. I can't wait to make them - my brother is an egg hog when he makes eggs so these will come in handy for him to make for himself.

The fast food burgers were a huge hit!!! Perfect for my brother who thinks burgers 3 times a day is a great idea LOL

LOL!! That's awesome.

I know this sounds a little gross, but it works... If you add Gerber Beef Baby food to the ground beef when in the food processor and some frozen diced onions, it tastes a lot like White Castle Cheeseburgers.

About the egg hog.... :) There are these microwave egg cookers on hang tags at a few of the GEs I frequent, they are awesome. I hate using frying pans to cook eggs. Just scramble two eggs, add some omelette ingredients, and cook for 90 seconds. Then take it out and put a slice of free cheese on it and flip it closed for 30 seconds on the counter. Voila.... instant omelette and EASY EASY cleanup.

It looks like a gray plastic half circle with a hinge. When opened it is a circle.

Frank

The week does look pretty crummy except for a few items. $1 for bacon is not too bad with the q's, but we have a freezer full, so I'll wait this one out. On the plus side, I'll get more done this week, since I won't be living at GE! lol

I just got the mail, so I haven't had time to look at the GE ad - but did anyone else get the RP insert of coupons in with the junk mail today???? I've never seen an actual insert of coupons in there, usually it's just the GE ad, the RiteAid ad, and then some other local stores ads with the RP 'wrapper' that is usually satellite tv and pizza ads. It's like Christmas for me! lol

Edited to add - Does anyone need more Farmland Bacon q's? I might need a day or two to gather them all up, but I know I have quite a few here (I'm slowly getting caught up with organizing all the coupons that are stashed here and there on my desk). PM me if you'd like a few and I'll see how many I have to send out. Everyone here on the GE board has been so helpful and kind - so I'd love to give back something! I think these are all gone - I'll be getting the envelopes ready and out today or tomorrow :-)

Nope - just the circulars. I signed up to get them in the mail months ago but never got them
