This is what I do as well. I do pull out the coupons I KNOW I will find a use for or if I know the items are regularly on-sale/clearance/etc.

The rest I leave as is and pull as needed. I used to cut and it simply became WAY to over whelming

Default I may need to add on a room in my house soon

and not for the stockpile, but for the coupons themself. I have only been doing this for about 4 weeks and i already have 2 3" ring binders completely full. Its getting to the point where im thinking of getting about 5 of them and use one for different catagories. Its just insane that they are taking up this much room (and time to keep them straight).

Someone needs to come up with a better method of organizing. Problem really is that each sunday I get between 40-80 insert sets and after they are cut up and stored they take a lot of space.

I like having them cut so i dont need to hunt them down and cut them later. I have read the organizing thead and i have adopted the baseball sheets in a 3ring binder book, but does anyone have so many 3 ring binders it becomes hard to keep track of them?

lol, I think its less your organizational skills than the amount of each you have. I know many people staple like coupons together (I get them like this all the time, lol) which might help, but I'm not sure about so many...

Default Re: Organizing / Storing Your Uncut Inserts

I have started clipping them as I make my grocery list and then taking a binder clip and then attaching the coupons to my list(s). I have found out that this works really well. I have also started creating my grocery lists online using each grocery store's shopping list creator. I may need to start searching for some deals on printer ink!!

QUESTION Do I clip all of the coupons in the insert or.....

just ones I know I'll use? Sorry if this has been covered, I searched but couldnt find it. I realize to do this well I cant be brand loyal and thats fine but I have seen some people say to clip them all so I wonder if that really means all of them. What about things that I know I will never buy for our family? If y'all do clip them all is it for the purpose of sharing? I'd like to share what I can but if I know for a fact I wont use them, I'd rather save myself the time of clipping. Please advise!

Thanks!

Hi !

I'm pretty new here but I'll tell you what I do and maybe that will help..

I do clip all mine... it's just easier for me to keep them organized that way.. but you could also put the date on the insert and file them that way... I personally keep all of them so I can trade for things I will use.. but I understand the clipping thing.. and when I get more inserts I probably will file them by date and clip as needed.. lol. Save my poor hands..

Hope that helped !

Everyone has a different method. I file by source date in folders , but clip out as much as I need or can and put in my case that has baseball and picture inserts. HTH I know some people clip them all etc. I guess will depend on what method works for you .

Even if you do not clip them all - save them in file folders with the date of the paper b/c later if something is free/cheap you may want it. For example I prefer ziploc bags but if glad is free/cheap, I will buy it. If I only clipped the ziploc I would be limiting the deals I could get. I don't wear a lot of make-up but if it is free/really cheap then I buy it...so it is important to keep all the Qs.
