Thanks for sharing some of your categories. I struggled with some of those as well but never thought to break them down like you do. I will be making some changes based on your post!! Again, thanks!!

So now I carry that in my bag "just in case," and put everything from my list in a smaller creative memories photo file - just the little small accordian one.

This is a great idea. I have several of these creative memories photo files just sitting in my basement! Thanks for the tip.

I'm thrilled with the 13 pocket expanding file for $5 at Walmart. It's plenty of room for my coupons, calculator, pen, checkbook register jotted with cheat sheets, date book jotted with Qs/expiration dates, rewards cards, ECBs , corporate & store phone #s, a thin magnifiying glass, & an envy of pet Qs for shelter. It's better than carrying a heavy binder and easier to look thru when it sits in the buggy. There's a pocket/velcro in the back for eyeglasses and a band that wraps around the organizer to close it.
As you can see, I prefer to file alphabetically. I pull the coupons and place them in front of the A so I'm ready at check-out.
Mine isn't shown on the site but it's Ampad item # 32070.

Actually, the one we got is a blue and black one that scrolls across in the advertisement on the web page. I haven't found any number but I will check another site and post if I get more details.
Thanks

This looks interesting. How big is it? I'm looking for something small, like a half size notebook or something.

Wow, you guys have some great ideas. However, it is a little daunting seeing how organized you guys are. I am going to try the file box system for now because I am just starting, but I do have a nice brief case I got for college graduation 17 years ago that I have held onto and don't use. I will plan on using it should I ever get as couponing as you.

10 1/2 X 5 1/2
I forgot to mention the other thing I like about is that I no longer have to fold Qs like I did in the binder.
Do wish it snapped to the cart like this one Amazon.com: Black Hannah Hansen Coupon Organizer: Kitchen & Dining

3 shoeboxes. I do a box then make friends with a cashier and she watches the basket and I go get the next box etc. By the time I check out, we are friendly so it usually goes well when I beep.
