Just curious... how many trips do you make to stores in a week?

I have just started really couponing, and learning about CVS. I have a feeling I am going to be going more often.

I have learned that the fewer times I go to the store the less money I spend. I buy groceries for the month at one time sticking to a tight budget. If I have forgotten something I try to make a list and go one time for the week. I have really been able to keep my expenses down.

I've been going one or two times a week. I'm a newbee to this site, and with the prices of gas going up, I'm looking to learn how to plan this out so that I'm still only going one or two times a week.

I'm down to 2-3 a week.

I rarely go to CVS anymore. I make 1 trip to Publix, 1 to WAGs, and 1 to Winn Dixie.

Hmmm... I am just starting so I only go 2-3 times a week, but I really don't want to make it too much more. My fear with couponing and deal searching is that in order to get the deals I want I would have to spend way too much time planning and going to stores. But it looks like some of you are able to cut down the time and still be able to get a decent amount of deals.

I go once a week--make the rounds of all 3 stores I regularly use. Luckily they're all along the same stretch.

With gas @ $4.00 a gallon it wouldn't take much running around to seriously devalue some of the savings I'm getting.

Well, this is only my 2nd week so I use to only go about 2x/month. Now that I've started couponing though I usually go 1x/wk & my husband goes 2x/wk (the stores are close to his work).

I have only been on hcw a month, but I drive by two CVS', two Rite Aids, two Walgreen's, and two Publix on my 6 mile commute to work every day. So I have ecb cards for my dh and ds, never leave home without my coupons, and have stockpiled a lifetime worth of toothpaste in the month of May! If one store runs out of an ecb item another store will have it!

So, if I go to Target, Walgreens, Kmart (to pick up more Q's!), and another Walgreen's - is that considered 1 trip or 4? I prefer to call it one!

I only go grocery shopping once a week. But the sales and coupons can get me out more. For the Walgreen's P&G deal I wore myself (and kids) out store-hopping all week until I ran out of Q's. Then I came on here and read about some deals I missed and went back out again. Target ran out of razors, so I will probably go back once or twice and try to get more. I make more trips than I might have to so I don't buy out 1 store if possible. But I am pretty new to this. I'm sure I will get bored at some point and limit myself to 1-2 trips per week.
