Now, make a list of the stores that you have nearby, or available to shop at. Now, check out those forums. For instance, Family Dollar. Now go to that forum and see if there is a FREE and/or Dirt Cheap after Qs thread. Set aside all those Qs for your shopping trip. Now go thru the sales thread for that week.
Now, repeat this w/ all of your stores.
By the time you go shopping, you will have a list of what is free, where, and you can map out your driving route.

You should be able to trade for some coupons for this week's Kroger's ad. I don't have Kroger here, but I believe you can look ahead at their ad for next week and get trading for coupons for next week's ad. You don't have to get a huge stockpile to start with as ads go through cycles and another good sale will come around soon. HTH!

Default Re: Dont Pay For That!!

Man I'm so new to this. I really want to learn this and the savings sound great but I'm confused and it seems so hard. Where do I start? I clipped a bunch of coupons to trade with people and I have some expireds to send over seas but I'm not sure how. Also, I cannot access the coupon archive. Not sure why. I've been on here about a week and have made several posts (well, replies). Please help! Thanks.

Richard, Welcome from Katy, TX

First off you need to join the trader forum to be able to trade coupons. You won't be able to access all of the areas on the board until you get your post count up a little higher, this wards of spammers.

If you need help, just ask

That is what I did. I am a newbie too.
FIRST I got loads of coupons.. then i went to Publix and stocked up on Fruit Rollups for the kids lunches at school next year. They had them BOGO and I had a coupon for 1.00 of 2. SO i bought 20 boxes at about .65 a box. THen I went to Kroger and stocked up on Oscar Meyer beef hotdogs at 1.00 a pack after coupon...

Yesterday I went to CVS and spent 53.00 on various things and received ECB's on everything I purchased. (had a few coupons too) SO now i have 25.00 in ECB's to spend in the future. I guess you have to spend some money at CVS before you really start noticing the savings.. (ecb's)

I'm a little overwhelmed with information! I tried to look up information on trading coupons but didn't have access to that section. How can I get started?
