Default Buy one get one free

So are you saying that you can just buy the one item for half off? Or if something at publix is 3 for $3 you can take one for $1?

I believe if it is 3 for 3, you can get 1 for 1 or 2 for 2 or 5 for 5. In buy one, get one you should have to buy one full price then get 2nd half unless sign says 2 for $, then you should be able to split it. Some other stores might say 2 for $3 but only when you buy 2, the first one could be full price (Walgreens does this with their pricing).

It really does depend on the store. At my Publix and Bi-lo, BOGO means that those items are half price. I can buy one or two or any other number and pay 50% off each item. At my Walgreens, CVS, and RiteAid, BOGO means just that, buy one at full price and the next one is free. If I buy one item I will pay full price for it, it I buy two the second is free, the third item I will pay full price for and so on.

Can someone explain how the BOGO coupons work with other coupons? I didn't know you could use a coupon on an item that is already free.

Let's assume you buy two items. On a b1g1 sale, the store pays for one, and you pay for the other.

Your method of payment is your coupon, which is for b1g1 as well. So the store pays for one item, and you use your coupon to pay for the other one.

I've had stores tell me that I have to buy one item to get the other free, and I always say, I know, and this is how I'm paying for my item.

Works every time. :)
