One Coupon Per Purchase

I'm new to this and have a question about buying multiples of something when the coupons say "One Coupon Per Purchase."

Say I have a coupon to save $1 on 2 items and also a coupon to save $.50 on 1 item. If I actually buy 2 items, can I use both of these coupons?

Welcome to HCW!

To be able to use both coupons, you need to buy THREE items. One is covered by the $1/2, and the other by the .50/1.

The first coupon requires the purchase of two separate items, and the second, one. But you can't use 2 manufacturer's coupons on one item.

OH! The amount of coupons per purchase is soo confusing!!!! I do not understand. Purchase 3 items and use 3 coupons?

It depends on what quantity the coupon is for. In the example given, she had one coupon for two items. So she had to purchase 2 items to use the 1 coupon. Then, she had a second coupon for buying one item.

So, she would be able to go to the register with her three items in her basket, hand the cashier 2 coupons and she would be good to go.

you cannot use more than one MANUFACTURER's coupon on an item that would be covered by the coupon.

It would be the same as if you had a $off of 2 sodas and a $off of 1 jar of pickles. You would buy 2 sodas and 1 jar of pickles. If you had 2 coupons for the soda - $off of 2 sodas and a $off of 1 soda you would buy 3 sodas.
