Default Will this work..please help

So here's my ?? I have q's for $.75/2 Powerade...if I use three of those to get 6 powerade can I also use another q I have for Buy 3 powerade get 2 free?? If so, would I get 2 more for a total of 8...or just get 6 and 2 of them would be free??

Also, if I have a q that says "buy nabisco cookies and milk and save $1" does that q attaches to both items or can I also use a q for the nabisco cookies along with it??

Assuming these are all manf. q's and not some store q's, then you could use the three .75/2 coupons for 6 powerades then you need to buy 3 more and get 2 free (total 11 powerades). If you have both store and manf. q's then you could double dip on them.

Usually with coupons like the nabisco one you're talking about you can use another q with the cookies and/or the milk but it really depends on the wording of the coupon.

I'm confused 11 powerades?? 3 more would make 9 and why would i need to get three more I look at like I can either use both q's and it would look like this...say they cost $1.50 each:
6*1.50=9-.75/2 (dbld)-4.50=4.5 if I can use my "buy 5 get 2 free q" here then I assume I have to buy another 2 (which are my "free ones") but that would allow me to use another $.75/2 q right...so I would actually get 8 for $3. Follow?? Does that make sense??

Now if I can't use that q with the other one..then I'm not even sure how that scenario would work except just go without that q all together since the .75/2 seems to be a better deal??

You have three .75/2 coupons. You "spend" all of those, that makes 6 Powerades. Those 6 Powerades are "tied" to those 3 coupons you just used so you can't use any other manf. q's on those 6. You have 1 B3G2 coupon. You buy 3 more (makes 9) and then you get 2 free (11). You can't use both a .75/X and a BXGX on the same item unless one is a manf q and one is a store q.

That would give you the most Powerades with three of the .75/2 q's and 1 b3g2 and doubling.

Assuming that a Powerade is $1.50 each, that means:

6 x $1.50 = $9 - (3 x .75 = $2.25 x double) = $4.50 + (3 x $1.50 = $4.50) = $9 + 2 x $0. So, total cost for 11 Powerades $9 or $.82 each.

If it was a store SALE for B3G2 then you COULD use the coupons with the sale to bring the price way down, but you said it was a coupon so you can't put two manf. q's on the same item.

I have been using 5 of the .75/2 to get 10 Powerades and then using a B10G5 Free coupon. I don't feel like that is using two man qs on the same item. I am purchasing 10 which meets the requirement of the Buy 10 Get 5 Free, but then I am using coupons to get money off on the ones I am purchasing. If this is wrong then about 98% of this board is wrong because alot of people post about doing this exact thing or something similiar . Now you couldn't use a .75/2 on the free ones.

Then it could be that 98% of the board is wrong.

If you buy 10 and you use five .75/2 AND B10G5, then you're using 2 manf. coupons on the same items. You're meeting both requirements, but you're meeting them with the same items.

If it was a B10G5 SALE, then you could use the .75 coupons too and in most stores, they would let you use enough for all 15 of your items (although that can be a YMMV thing).

If you have a coupon for B5G2 free and 3 .75/2 coupons and you buy 8 then you are fine. This is called piggybacking. The first 5 you buy are called qualifiers for the 2 you are getting for free (B5G2). You may then use coupons on the 5 qualifiers. So, you add 1 more which makes 6. Now you can use the 3 .75/2 coupons on those bottles.

On the other coupon if the wording is "buy nabisco cookies and milk and save $1" then you would not be able to use a q for the cookies. If the coupon says "buy nabisco cookies get $1 off milk" then you would be able to use a q on the cookies.

Thank you , that was what I was trying to say about using my B10G5 free. It is the same principle.

Ah...piggybacking...I knew there was a phrase for this out there. That's exactly what I thought...thanks so much.

As follow up though. I did try this today at Giant and it didn't work...at least not through the self check out. I had my two munchkins with me and didn't have time to wait for someone to come over and try to figure it out. I'll go again tomorrow and try it through an actual check out lane and see what happens .
