What To Do With Expired Coupons? = Send To Military

Hi! I know that overseas military families can use expired coupons on base at the commissary, but I don't know how to get them to them. I have stacks of them I would love to give to someone. So if you know of anyone that would use these, that has an APO/AFO so that the postage is the same as it is in the states I would love to send them off. I've seen a couple of posts on HCW but can't respond to them for some reason. I just signed up for HCW a few days ago so maybe that's why...but if anyone could help that would be great! Thanks.

That's what I figured...not enough posts. Thanks for your help. I could send them out tommorrow or Thursday. Just need to cut a few more out. I'm sure if your friend can't use them all she could pass them along to someone who could. I'd be thrilled to see them go to good use!

You are also not allowed to post in the Expireds trade post yet, because you're not a member of the trader user group yet (See the trader bubble in my name? that's what you need.) To get one of those follow this link and put in your request for the user group.


Next tip is to follow the link in my siggy to the Overseas Military looking for Expireds. It's a locked thread so you can't reply to it anyways, BUT once you have that trader bubble, you will be able to send a PM to any of the names in that list to ask them for their address and then you can mail out all the piles of expireds that are building up!

I trade mine, but since so few people want or can use expireds, the untraded ones go to the OCP base I adopted.

Just to remind everyone that while the Overseas Coupon Program is super, one advantage of sending to one of our members here vs sending through their program, is that you will probably get though personal touch with our list. You can get to know the person that you're mailing the coupons to, and you more than likely will receive a thank you when they've been received, so you KNOW without a doubt that they arrived safely.

I am in charge of my dh's Marine Corps League detachment's coupon project and it's imperative to us that we have that personal contact with the people that we mail 15 lb boxes of coupons to!

I read somewhere about sending expired q's to people in the military and now I can't find where it was at. I have alot of expired q's and would hate to throw them away if someone can use them. Could someone please give me more info on what to do and where to send them.
