Thumbs Down Gardening: Why does my DH do this??

He's taking the kids' 2 sunflower starts (ever hear of anyone doing sunflower starts???) and planting them in the front yard. There is no place for them. Why in the world? They'd be great where they belong in the BACKYARD!

    Aaaagh!

They are very pretty and will be gone, and at least its not something that comes back each year unless he plants them again...

To make the front yard cheery and to show off the kids' handi-work!
