too late to plan cantaloupe in Savannah, Ga?

Hi everyone
I was wondering if you thought it was too late to plant cantaloupe or watermelon right now? We live in Savannah Ga. Also, what else can I plan now or soon? thanks :o)

Not sure about the cataloupe and watermelon.

I'd say green beans - bush type have a short grow cycle, winter squashes, lettuce - they should all be ok. Check with your local county extension office they will be able to help you know what you can grow when.

the man down the road from me says yes its to late to plant them.....he has a stand has been dealing with them for years.
