    Default catnip

anybody out there in cyberland know if wild rabbits will eat catnip? (and is it safe to give to a pet bunny?) my boss just gave me a plant, I know it spreads so we are putting in a sunny spot well away from everything else and are kinda hoping it does take over (less mowing ). it will save me a fortune in cat toys!

but I'm not entirely sure what to do with now that I have it! :shrug7:

We grew catnip for our cats. It does spread like crazy! The neighbor has outdoor cats and they were all over it! From what I've read rabbits do not like catnip. If your cats are anything like mine they will LOVE it!

I've had it for years, make toys for my kitties & all my friends kitties every year...if you keep it cropped to dry, it won't spread so much as it spreads from seeds...I cut most of mine & hang to dry before it gets to seeding stage..no problems with rabbits for me.
