How to put up my peas?

I am growing black-eyed peas, and I have plenty of them. I want to freeze some; do I need to blanch them first, or can I freeze them raw?

i always blanch mine before i freeze them

Rats. I figured that would be the case. I was feeling lazy, not wanting to do that.
