I am sorry you had to go through this. I think the cashier may have been confused. I've never heard of this for coupons that did not have to be doubled. That would really mess up my deals too. I would ask management.....
I wasn't able to use more than three like coupons. It messed up my deal. My only issue is that, these coupons were $1. They didn't need to be doubled. At the time I was flustered because I was trying to rework the deal, but I wasn't able to.
Is there anything I can do?
Is there a new policy?
Should I even go back to Fry's? I'm rather upset over this.

mostly all fry's store have now there coupon policy at the register or right on the entrance- you can grab it - and in case of any confusion- you can point it to the cashier.. bc. in your case she was wrong..
3 coupons - under 1.00 $- they will only double - 3 alike coupons
also it says- they will accept " face value " - no limit .. so if you have .25 c coupons you can hand them over and you will get only .25 c - even if you had a 100 of them ..
the coupons that don't need to be doub. ( 1.00 and more ) should be accepted without a problem .. it says on their printed policy..
i hate when they mess up the order grrr..
No-limit is not true. The policy does not state a limit. It also does not have "no-limit" stated either. The store and/or management has the right to limit the amout of like coupons you have no matter what the value is. For instance the Dr. Pepper 10 free coupons, at several stores I was only able to use 4. At some I was able to use 20. The stores/managers have the right to limit the amount of coupons you use to make sure there is product avaliable to other shoppers. I have called corporate and asked about this and I was asured it is a "store/manager" discression issue.
