I hate when they drag out the mediocre "sales" another week.

A few bright spots...the 93% lean ground beef, Quaker (again, but will be cheaper @ CVS next week), Herdez salsa .99 AC, cheap eggs, and cheap Libby's veggies (if you haven't made it to Bashas this week). There was a .25/1 Kroger Greek yogurt in a recent Fry's newspaper insert, so if they include the Greek, it would be super cheap, but I'm not sure if I'd bet on that.

Yes, we DO need another Mega! Come on, Fry's - show us the deals!!!

I went to Fry's @ Val Vista & Baseline last night, and here's what I found...

As I suspected, the Kroger Greek yogurt is NOT included with the other varieties...it is 10/$10. (Bummer...)

There was a good amount of meat marked down, and there were Tropicana carton drinks marked down to .79. (NOTE...they are not 100% juice, though..."Cocktail" type blends.)

But it gets better...they had a decent selection of frozen food on clearance - I got 4 Tornados for about $1 total, and a FAC clearanced Wanchai Ferry meal ($1.50/1). They also had other items like TGIF grilled panini-type sandwiches, Ben and Jerry's 4 packs, and several other things all marked to around $1 a box. If you have IP's on any of these, go check it out!

Now for the unadvertised freebies...

Betty Crocker pouch potatoes .88, FAC after .40/1 (9/12/10). The system did not give overage, BTW, but I won't complain about free!

Bumblebee tuna pouches (Chunk light ONLY) $1.00, FAC after .55/1 (9/12/10). I saw these at Safeway for the same price, if Fry's is out. And the .55/1 BB pouch blinkies are BACK!!! There were Q's at Fry's, Safeway, and Albies last night, and I'll bet Bashas might have them too - so if you're looking to stock up on tuna, or to do a donation, now's the time!!!

I have seen both DND5 and some DND9 blinkies, but only the 5's are programmed to double. I've found DND5's at two different Fry's, but the ones at Safeway and Albies had the dreaded 9 code. The insert coupons from 9/12 are DND5, so no problem there.
