I believe I know which coupon you are talking about. I don't see why you couldn't use it, because it does state "any" Ivory even though it pictures the dishsoap. Worse case scenario they tell you no :) but I think it would be easily argued.

Yes...they're good, especially if you can get them for free. My family found them a little spicy, but we like spicy. I'm not sure if they sell different kinds or not. We also froze them and they turned out just fine. If they turn out a bit spicy for your taste you can always casserole them with other ingredients to tone down the heat a bit. I also think they would be really good in a homemade corn beef hash.

I had many coupons for them - and since they turned out to be free- for the past 14 days i have been making many trips to get " 3 " at a time for free .. any thing free- esp. " not junk " food- is good for me right now . Kids love it - husband loves it. For a " late breakfast " they are just fine. I do them many ways- and they have 3 type of them .

Kids love them with a few pieces of the " Hebrew national franks " - ( that's the heavier option ).. i even mixed some spinach and eggs - they taste good with almost anything.

    Love freebies :)

I bought some yesterday. Man the package is so heavy like they are very wet or something, and a loong expireation dat, end of Sept!
What the heck is in them that the directions say to make sure and cook them for a minutes at a certain temp. You usually only see that on like meat products or something, not potatoes Oh well for FREE I'll give anything a try.

Well - all i know is they have potatoes in it- with some spices- nothing else :)

Yesterday i have tried a different way to make them - and everyone really liked it.

Put the potatoes in a bowl, mix with 3-4 eggs and some oregano and salt. ( this is for the ones that say o nly " hashbrowns " on the bag- not the " southwestern style "

On an electrical grill ( the one that you can cover , like when you make waffles ) ..
spread the hashbrowns and leave for about 10 -12 minutes ( it's grilling it from both sides at same time )
meantime prepare some tomato paste, ketchup- pizza spice/oregano mix ..
chop some hot dog ( or pepperoni )
top the hashb. with the tomato mixture
    than with your hotdogs/ pepperoni
    than some shredded cheese
cover it again for another minute or till the cheese is melted

It was a " fast & easy " hasb. breakfast pizza.. not bad :)
