Fry's Trick or Treat

Did any one else take their kiddos to the trick or treating at Frys on Thursday?

We went for our second years, and I was disappointed again. They advertise trick or treating, but only 2 employees were handing out candy.

The cookie decorating good.

Only 2 samples were offered this year.

Yeah, I went with my daughter, but ours had no samples! There was only 1 employee with treats and they were out of the cheap bags of cany with the exception of m&ms and 2 bags of crunch (which I managed to get). My DD liked the cookie decorating though. I was happy to do another round of mega bacause I missed the playtex gloves the first time.

REALLY, They had a lot of trick or treating at ours. Every cashier had candy and almost every dept too, and there was the cookie decorating too. As far as the samples go...I think there were about 6, but none of them had any coupons for what they were sampling, so of course I thought that was a dud, but other than that it was pretty good.

It must vary by manager then as far as how much candy and samples they give out.

wow, we had cookie decorating, tons of candy, popcorn/candy corn gloves and samples for:

gala apples
hamburger patties
pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
fruit trays
cheese
rock star energy drink
little smokies

Also, in the kids zone, they had tiny pumpkins the kids could decorate. It was a madhouse and I will promise myself I will NOT go back next year. Of course, that is what I said last year and I didn't listen then either! But with 5 kids begging to start trick or treating early, how can I refuse?!
