Moderator question

I'm not sure if this is where this goes but I'll give it a try! When you become a moderator do you get trained? What all is involved in moderating? It looks quite hard...I mite be interested in moderating for dollar general but i'm a bit afraid of what it mite consist of lol...I have 3 small kids and I'm a stay at home mom...I spend most of my life with my kids and on this website....Is there a forum where I could learn about it before I decide to do it? Thanks so much!!!

I would PM cheynesnana with your questions. It really is not as hard as it looks, and you kind of learn as you go. There is some resources available to mods for assistance, and the other mods are very helpful.

The hardest part is that Mugalina teases me constantly...

no really it's not that hard. You would do a weekly ad but the DG isn't that big at all and the cool this is they have lots of good priced stuff!!!

For me, it felt a bit overwhelming at first, but I found it was easier to learn as you go. And the gals are really really nice about helping with any and all questions.

I was very hesitant to become a mod, but was convinced by someone that I could do it. So far, so good. I think ! lol I'm a relatively new mod, but I'm getting the hang of it. Everyone is extremely helpful and is great about ''dealing with us new mods'' ;-) Trust me, it's worth it. If you're already spending all that time on here, then why not be a mod and have more fun doing it??

I just took on the role as the new PetSmart mod, and I too thought it would be difficult, but it's really not, especially if you shop often at that store already and are a dedicated ad reader!
