I upload the PDFs into my Google docs account and get a link that way. The files take up a lot of room in the thread and can cause them to run slower, so I put the link in. Our HCW albums do not have space for PDF files.
I'd like to scan the ads for the A&P forum, I know how to scan the ad, I know how to convert it to a PDF file, but I'll be darned if I can figure out out to link it for people to be able to click on it. Any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks

Clicking the paper clip icon allows you to upload an attachment :)

Thanks everyone for the replies, I'll try it when the new ad comes out.
For the ad scans I do, I don't save them as PDFs, instead when I scan them I have my computer set to open them in Paint. I then resize them (I have to do 18% x 18%) and then save them as JPGs. Then I can attach them to the post using the paperclip icon.
The only major disadvantage that I've found with this method is that you have to resize them to be able to attach them (there's a size limit) so the ad scans are much smaller and harder for members to see.
I will only be online every few days, so I may be a bit slow to respond.
Could you upload them to a blog and then provide a link or is that against the rules? Most free blogs allow for large images (1000px), making it easier to read for those with us with aging eyesight.
