Hi, to be able to gain access to the preloaded avatars or upload one of your own you have to be a member for 2 days & have a certain post count ( which is undisclosed & not a large # ). Also if you upload one of your own the restrictions are as follows: The maximum size of your custom image has to be 100 by 100 pixels or 31.0 KB (whichever is smaller). At this time you do not meet the requirements for an avatar but you are not far away.

Hi, 1st you need to upload the pic to a pic hosting site such as Photo Bucket. Once it is uploaded it will create a link that you use to post here. There will be several links to use; I use the IMG CODE link. If you need help just PM me I will be more than happy to help.

When I first join up I had an avatar and it show up but now on the 2nd day yesterday it didn't.

So I when to see if it was still there and it was. I tried to change it but now it won't reset or give me an option to do anything.

Am I doing something wrong?

Do you know of a way to make the smilies not appear in the posts? I often read from work and it would be better if I could hide them.
