    Default Posting Insert Scans?

    Hello,

I have a question....each week I scan the inserts i get. Am I allowed to post a link to my scanned insert in the Trades forum...so people can see what was in my insert for trades...or is that against some rule?

    PLMK

    Thanks

You can if you alter the images and void out the coupons so that someone does not try to print out the scans and redeem the images. Most people just type out the list of what they have in their inserts which is better for you as a trader as well because images do not show up in the search results. So if someone is looking here at HCW for a trader that has, let's say, Tide coupons and they search our trading forums for Tide coupons, your post will not show up because it just has images and not the word "Tide"

I have a flat bed scanner
I scanned in the Ralphs ad (1 page the size of the coupon inserts )
went to post it using the attachment option to upload from my computer (I can see it in my picture files so it is there)
and all I get is an error message.
How do I scan and post ads
Please help I want to learn how to do this

What kind of error message are you getting? Also, are you uploading the images to your Hotcouponworld Photo Albums or are you using the icon in the post control box to attach the image(s) directly to your post?

Upload of file failed. yes I am using the paper clip icon in the post control box to attach the image directly to my post. It works with pictures from my camera but not from scanned pictures

I have had the same problem from time to time. Try opening the pic & resaving under a different name as a jpg.
