Default How do I delete my OP?

I have a post in The Coupon Swap that I would like to delete. I don't see a delete option.

We decided only mods/admins we'll have that feature. You are welcome to edit your own post. If you really feel that you have a post that needs deleting, please PM an Admin for review.

Is there a reason why we can't? I don't understand. I have never been to a board that didn't let me delete my own post.

I am a member of at least 3 other forums that do not allow members to delete their own posts. When a post is deleted by the OP others posts go bye bye too. Its a decision we made. That about sums it up.

Not the end of the world. You can edit your post, and you can PM a Super mod or admin and we can consider deletion of a post.

Of course you can do something about it. You can PM a mod who has the ability to delete.

Yikes! I hope I never have to ask for advice.
IMO, if you mean, asking advice about a couponing issue and then get an answer or opinions, then it makes sense to leave it up. Others may have the same questions and the answer/opinion could benefit others.

Even in a non-couponing sense, someone else might be in similar circumstances, and the advice that was aimed at you might help them out as well.

Certainly if you are asking for advice, it's likely something someone else might want to know too. No problem is all that original.

Again, we also mentioned above, if it really needs deleting there is the option of PMing an admin.

Not sure why this is such a point of contention :Eh:
