DIRECTIONS ON ~ How to upload pics to a thread

I know it's posted somewhere here but I can't find it (probably right in front of me)...
What are the rules about posting images of ads? I know posting images of coupons is a HUGE no no, but I see all of the ad images ppl post are pictures of the ad taken with a camera...is there a rule about not scanning them? I have had the opportunity to post the occasional ad or flier in the past and haven't because I questioned this rule.

There's no rule here against scanning them. Some of the reasons folks use a camera instead of a scanner are: 1) don't have a scanner, 2) can do it faster with camera than scanner, and 3) ad pages are too big to fit on scanner.

If you scan/photograph an ad that has coupons in it, be sure to block out the barcode of the coupon.

That's the only rule about ad pictures that I know.

All pictures have to follow the same rules as text content. See the "Forum Management" section of the Terms of Service. That includes rules like no profanity, no defamation, etc. If you have questions about a specific picture, I'd recommend sending a PM to one of the admin, supermoderators, or the moderator of the specific forum.

ETA: If you did not take the ad photos yourself, you must give credit to the person who did the work.

Click on the little paper clip next to the smilie... then you can browse your computer and attach you pics.. HTH..

Gp Advanced in the message box. Then at the top is the little paper clip.

Click on the little paper clip next to the smilie... then you can browse your computer and attach you pics.. HTH..

How do you make your pictures bigger? I see some pics that are quiet large but when I try to upload bigger pics it tells me they are too large. Then when I get them small enough to take, they look very small in my post. Is there instructions for doing this somewhere? Thanks!
