DIRECTIONS ON ~ How to upload pics to a thread - Page 2

I know HOW to add pictures, but it doesn't ever work for me. If I go through the pop up box, it just keeps saying it failed. If I do the paperclip, I just keep getting the box with the red x. Any ideas on what my issue is here? TIA!

Are you trying to add pictures directly from your computer, or do you have them uploaded to a photo hosting site (like Photobucket)?

I have tried to add them directly from my computer and by entering in the url.

I had the same problem. I ended up having to load the photo to my blog and then copy the url from there and it worked. Not sure why it didn't just work from my computer.

I just copy and paste them from my pictures or my e-mail.

Here's my daughter's cat, "Princess".

I took the picture with my cell phone and e-mailed to myself, copied and pasted it to this thread, and waaa laaa ~ there she is.

I'm trying to find out the same thing. I was trying to upload a picture from my pantry that I took with my iphone. Every way I try to save it, it is way too big for HCW. So how does one reduce the file size to get it small enough to post? Obviously it can be done somehow, since so many folks have posted pictures. Another one of those HCW secrets this newbie would like to learn!
