What are tags?

As you can see, I just figured out how to personalize my posts a little bit! I even added a photo and a signature line!!

I figured out how to change fonts/colors and fun stuff like that, but I noticed on my last post a spot at the bottom about "tags" which says that you can add up to 200 tag(s) to this thread, and did not know what that was. I looked in the FAQ section, but could not find anything.

Can anyone tell me what this is? TIA

A tag would be like a key word. So if in this thread we talk about a good deal on herbal essences or something you could make that a tag. Then you can click on Tags under the last post and it will pull up all the tags. Easy to search what you are looking for.
