At the moment we are aware of a problem with some members (Mostly with AOL) not recieving email notifications on subscribed threads or new PM's. We are working on this problem.

For some reason, I can only see 61 posts per page in a thread. I can tell that most threads have 100 posts per page, because I can always go to page 2 of a thread and it starts with 101. So basically I miss the last 40 posts of any thread. If a thread has 3 pages, I can see 1-61 of page one and 101-160 (or so) of page two, etc. I'm missing so many posts that I feel I can't post anything because I assume my question or comment has already been added, but I can't tell for sure.

Do I have some setting configured wrong? I've never messed with any settings here, so I assume they are set to a default.

When I view a message thread, I don't see a date or time on the posts ... if someone says "so & so worked for me today" ... I really can't tell when 'today' was.

Is there a way for me to "turn on" something so that there will be a date on each post? I've looked on the User CP page but maybe I'm overlooking something?

It should be on each post. I see (upper left hand corner of the post) that you posted this today at 9:57 am. On later dates, it will show the date. I think it's automatic, since I have never set anything.

You do need to actually open the thread to see it.

Hmmm ... I just changed from "Pink" forum skin to "Gray" and now I can see it. I wonder if in the "Pink" skin the lettering is also pink so it doesn't show up?!?!?!?

If you want to see what I was talking about with NOT having the date ... try making yours pink and see if it shows up for you ...

I have a related question....why is it that I see the time someone posts differently than others even when we are in the same time zone? For example, Mrs P, you mentioned that the OP posted at 9:57. However, on my screen, I see the time she posted as 10.57.......which is wierd since the actual time here is only 10:22 EST! And, I see Mrs P's post at 11:10 AM even though it is not even 11 AM here! Should I be changing any settings/options to see the correct time?

I have my time set to Eastern Standard Time ... you can set yours on the User CP under 'options' (I think) .... I believe this will 'adjust' all the posts to reflect your chosen time zone ... but I could be wrong.

Ahhh, Elaine--- I didn't see it in pink, either. I use plain old boring grey.

Nice1704-- go to your User CP and make sure that you have your time zone set correctly. I think it's under OPTIONS.

It has always been set as EST (which is where I am) for me......I double checked and it is still set as EST ..... is there anything else that could make the time show up wrong like it is doing for me?
