Thanks for the emails. I think the server folks have isolated the issue. They made an adjustment. Please watch if for the next hour or so, and if you're still seeing these, they'll make another modification.

Thanks!

Julie

Thumbs Up Re: anyone else getting some crazy HTTP 500 error?

i found a fix for me! if i have the options to view 40 postsper page i get the error and blank pages on some of the threads... did the same on 30 but i reset it to 20 and now i can view those same threads that gave me the error messages... and just to check i went back and reset it to 40 and could not view the threads i just previously viewed.... i have always had it set on 40 ..... so maybe this will help some others also...

You are right!!
I was skeptical, but figured it wouldn't hurt to try - and it worked for me as well.
I wasn't getting the pages immediately before, but as soon as I changed that, I was able to see all the pages I haven't been able to today!
Thanks!!

Same problem here. I did try the 20 per page and it was not better for me.

I get this message -
The website cannot display the page

HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
 • <LI id=causeSiteMaintenance>The website is under maintenance.
 • The website has a programming error.
What you can try:

Refresh the page.

Go back to the previous page.

More information

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.
For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

I have mine always set to 10 cause the page just loads faster....so maybe that setting is what's causing the grief. Is anyone still consistently getting this who is on a lower threads per view setting?

Default Re: Report Problems with the Board Here

I just tried clicking on the "Auctions" link and my screen went red and our virus protection said:

hotcouponworld.com has been reported to contain the following threats:

Malicious software threat: This site contains links to viruses or other software programs that can reveal personal information stored or typed on your computer to malicious persons.

and it made me clean the hard drive before proceeding. I have NEVER gotton this before here or anywhere else, so I'm not really sure why it happened, any suggestions?
