Everything on my screen is blown up to twice its normal size and I have to scroll horizontally just to see the whole HCW home page. I like how the font is bigger, but not how I have to scroll so much, and to top it off most of the words are scrambled together and overlapping. Please don't tell me this is something that is going to be permanent!:frown:

Half of the time I have to refresh the page to get it loaded at all.

Question for those of you who paid the $10 and had the ads removed - is it loading normal or fast?

I have DSL and everything else is loading normal.

same here, I noticed that too since the ads on the (L) side of the page were in place.

I thought its my pc and my cable connection but it loads within a second for other sites except this.

Yes I need to speak with Julie about this because it is slow and Im not liking it. Im not sure if it is the left side ad (there is only one ad there and it really should not be dragging the time to load so bad with one ad).

Julie is away with her family at the moment so hang in there guys I know this is kind of sucky. We will work on getting the site to run faster ASAP

I'm not sure if this question has already been asked, but ever since I joined HCW a few days ago the site is VERY slow to load. I'm using IE or my yahoo browser. Is there something I can do on my end? I'm not having problems with any other sites.

I love the site, although I have to admit it is overwhelming but I can't wait to figure it out! I LOVE all the smileys!!!! They're awesome!!!

see post above yours...we are aware of the site load time being slow and will be working on getting it fixed ASAP, the other owner is out of town right now and untill I can get ahold of her and figure out what we can do to get it fixed it is going to be slow. But it is annoying to me as well so you betcha we will find a fix!

All the sudden the "edit" button is gone from my Have List - all I see is quote

You lose edit ability on posts after a year. You should post a new have list and then use the report post link on the original thread (the little red triangle on the upper right of the post) to notify the mods that you need the original thread deleted.

ETA: Oh and send the link to the new have list to Lanichan to add to the index thread.

Okay I have a stupid question.....I've been here for six months now (awesome site by the way) and I am always checking out new posts via the "new posts" link. Well today when I click on new posts it brings up like 2-5 threads (not pages.....threads). I couldn't have read all 5 million posts by now (or have I?). I have cleared my cookies and temporary internet files and that did not help. How do I get the 5-16 pages to come back up when I click on "new posts"? I hope this question is not too confusing!?! Thanks for your help!

I PM'd the mod for the alphabetized wish/have lists to put me into the alphabetical lists.

She merged my have list with gr8diva's (I can see the confusion in the names). Now my have list links to nowhere, and gr8diva's has my have list on the end of hers.

I've gotten two PMs from people wanting to trade gr8diva's haves for my wishes, and when I tried to forward one to gr8diva, I got a messgage that the user doesn't exist.

She has an awesome have list and just got a bump. I don't want her to miss out on some trades.

Could someone please put this back the way it was and then add me to the alphabetized list?
