Sorry, I don't know then! Maybe you should try Firefox or a different browser. Or just play with your security settings on IE. Maybe your computer is set up to block the installing of the coupon software? I know my computer thought it was spyware and flipped out when I first tried to install it.

That's so funny that you said that because mine is the opposite. IE doesn't work for me but firefox does . I think really coupons.com like.s to mess with us

I think it's luck of the draw hun. Try uninstalling it and then try again if that doesn't work switch browsers. I knwo how frustrating it can

When you try to install the program are you sure that there isn't a spyware or anti-virus program that may be trying to block the installation and/or is blocking your use of the program?

A lot of the coupon printers and toolbars are labeled as a "Nuisance" by most spyware / antivirus programs - you may also have your IE7 security settings "too high" to allow it to run.

The last thing I can think of has to do with whether you allow "Cookies". Most of these IP Q sites require that you use cookies - that way they can track how many times you've printed, etc.

Are you on Vista or XP? I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't work with Vista, but it again, may be some setting that is not allowing it.

If you go to "Add/Remove Programs" do you see "Coupon Printer for Windows" as a listed program?

I did use firefox and it worked. However, DH's IT guy said firefox leaves your computer suseptible to viruses.

I have that problem occasionally, and quite often changing browsers helps- I have firefox (which I primarily use) but if I can't get somethign to work, try IE. SOmetimes one works, and the other does not...

or, as another poster suggested your security settings may be too high- although I know mine are not, and I sometimes get the same thing as you...

I had the same problem on my work PC with Internet Explorer, for whateve rreason it wouldn't print, i think it has something to do with my network security, i install Mozilla and all the sites work fine

thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I've uninstalled the coupon printer software and have installed foxfire and will now install the cp software. wish me luck. If this doesn't work I'm going to give up for the time being.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that we will be working on a FAQ addition to our FAQ's about printable coupons.

In all honestly I am not 100% sure why some folks have problems with printing coupons and some don't. The coupons offered on our printables pages for SmartSource and Coupons.com are the same printable coupons offered right on those companies websites so they are not techinally a Hot Coupon World problem/issue and if you have tried various browsers and uninstalling/re-installing the software your best bet is to contact the company directly that is offering the coupons (smartsource, coupons.com, or the individual brands that have printable coupons using bricks, etc.)

glad i'm not the only one. I have a new lap top running Vista, and new printer, and some work/some don't even from the same site. I can print a bricks, then it will just get stuck on 'please wait' the next time I try (different coupon) but SS is my big problem now. Used to be bricks. Hope someone finds whatever quirky thing it, cause I've adjusted everything, and still have issues.

You did it!! Thanks! I installed foxfire and disabled their pop up blocker and was actually able to print two coupons one from smart source and one from the Viva Diva webstie which I think uses bricks.com for stuff I need. Don't know if the charm will continue but I'm grateful for all your input.
