Tips: What I did when freebies didn't come . . .

Good discussion! I read in another forum on what everyone is getting in their mail, so I just pout a lil when I don't find any samples or coupons that I've requested..Perhaps I should learn to write them down, and email them if i really wanted it or make them aware that customers are not getting what they've requested..:)

Do the samples that come in the mail say free sample anywhere on the package? I ordered quite a few samples and haven't received a single one besides a Hanes panty which I think came through because it came in a yellow envelope. I'm wondering if somewhere along the line someone is enjoying all the samples.

I sign up for so many free offers that I don't remember them all. There are a few that I know that I did and didn't get but oh well!

I was just curious if anyone ever receives the freebies that they sign up for? I have been signing up for things for the last couple on months and the only thing that I have received is the Dr. P coupons. I was just wondering if it was just me or if this was true for everyone.....

I usually get most of what I sign up for. Walmart stuff always comes, and most of the stuff from the bigger companies. Some of the things I sign up for I think "this will never come" as I'm typing, and usually I am right. I figure if it comes... Bonus!!

Lots of the freebies take 6-12 weeks to show up, startsampling,walmart,kashi and the big manufacturers always show up. The others it's hit or miss. If your using the forum on here I usually look at how many have read the post or when it was posted to determine if I take the time to fill out the form or not. I figure either too many or the post is too old then its not going to come.

Yep what they said! lol. I figure if all I'm doing is taking a couple minutes to fill out a form or send an email it's not a big deal if I never get the item. Let's face it, half the stuff I don't want anyway, I just want any coupons that might come with it so I can trade them. lol

The WalMart ones and the ones from StartSampling always come. The Kroger site has had a few too...and they've gotten here safely. The ones that are offered by oddball sites, offering t-shirts, etc. usually don't show up. But...in rare cases they have!! So, I just sign up for them, in case they do!

I've gotten tons of free stuff. Magazine subscriptions, (Newsweek,Ladies Home Journal, Womens Day, family fun) stuff from Walmart, a Zippo blu lighter from Marlboro, a beachtowel from Newport,a fiberoptic mouse w/ gel pad for my arthritis,a craftsman ballcap and tons of other things
