Tips: What I did when freebies didn't come . . .

I also choose other~as I too forget and I am surprised at the amount I do get!! LOL

I figure they get overwhelmed with the response (after being posted on forums like this, fatwallet, and others of this type) that they just plain run out! So I don't worry about it.

The bigger companies are usually pretty good (P&G, Walmart, etc). It's the smaller outfits which offer t-shirts that usually don't come through. But then again, if they get 30,000+ responses, I can understand them not wanting to send that many out!

I would forget too, but I keep a detailed excel file of everything I sign up for and when I sign up for it.

That's exactly how it is with me! I am very organized when it comes to trading and sending in for rebates. But, I never remember the samples and freebies I send for.

I keep a little notebook of the freebies Ive requested but I would never contact a company about a freebie they were "suppose" to send. I thankful for what I do get.
Sometimes I do pout when seeing others have gotten their freebie and I havent LOL

Like others, I usually don't remember what I've requested. But there has a been a time or two that I see someone got a freebie that I was sure I signed up for but never got. Never occured to me to write the company, though. I may give that a whirl.

This has been interesting. I usually forget about the freebies . . . but I started this thread after remembering two that I had REALLY wanted and never got (one from 4imprint and 1 from writing to a company who replied saying they would send samples). Keep your answers coming. I doubt the poll will change that much, but it is still interesting.
