DirecTV customers- Win a Free Whopper (6/14/2011)

If you have DirecTV, click on channel 111 (be sure your direcTV box is hooked to a phone line.)

Click on Start Lusting and the whopper will start rotating. Be ready to click on the arrow buttons when it asks you if you're still staring. First round is 5 minutes long and there's 3 random times that it'll ask you to press the button.

I did it and won 1 Free Whopper but got greedy and hit Double or Nothing. round 2 is 10 minutes long and it's hard to type while I'm watching the TV screen.

Funniest part is that I'm not overly fond on Whoppers!!! But it'll be good to give DH a special treat for lunch someday.

got confirmation on the screen that I'll be receiving my 2 free coupons by mail within 2 to 4 weeks.

I wasn't sure where to post this one, because it's so unusual! Last night when I was watching TV, I discovered an interactive channel where you can earn coupons for free Whopper sandwiches:

If you are a DirectTV customer, tune in to channel 111, IAC, titled “Whopper Lust – Get Free Whopper Sandwiches”. You will need to have Internet connected to your DirectTV account in order to participate. Follow the prompts on screen and watch the Whopper channel in increments of 5, 10, and 15 minutes (Up to 30 minutes total). You will be able to claim up to three free coupons. You can only take this “Whopper challenge” once, so if you want all three coupons, you will need to watch 30 minutes in one sitting. You will be prompted to hit certain keys on your remote from time to time to ensure you are still watching. At the end of the challenge, it told me my coupons would arrive in 2-4 weeks. I was not prompted to enter my mailing information, so I assume it must access your DirectTV account information in order to mail out the coupons.

The "Whopper channel" consists of an endless loop of a Whopper hamburger. I just brought my laptop into the living room and did other things while the Whopper channel played. Free food - works for me!
