    Thanks so much for this, I never am sure what to use on my laptop. Therefore, my screen is filthy.

    I was the same way about my laptop! My DH made me a little spray bottle with rubbing alcohol in it. I just squirt it on a microfiber cloth and wipe the screen clean, you can squirt it right on the screen too.

    Really? You can do this? I'm always afraid of putting anything on the screen, since you always hear you shouldn't use anything but a damp cloth on it.

    I did get bold and use glasses cleaner on a glass cleaning cloth this morning - and crossed my fingers that the screen wouldn't melt...
