At the risk of sounding ignorant...what is a "wine tasting skirt?"

Ya know...I am not really sure

I believe they are little skirt-like things you put around the bottom of a wine glass (the part that would sit on a table) so each person can identify which wine glass is theirs if they were to set it down somewhere.
